Ye ask, and recieve not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. (James 4:3)
I have been coming discouraged of late, not a lot, but just a little. I feel as if I post on my blog (Here) and yet no one is commenting and I have yet to figure out how many people are visiting or even reading my posts. Am I making any difference. I haven’t really prayed about it, but God knows my feelings and I’m sure He has a plan in mind.
This morning I open up my email, there is a name I don’t recognize, but my website is listed in his subject line so I open it up. Here is what the note said:
Hi Chris,
I just published an article on my blog entitled “50 Beautiful Blog Posts on Answered Prayers” at http://theologydegreesonline.com/50-beautiful-blog-posts-on-answered-prayers/ . Anyway, I am happy to let you know that your site has been included on that list. I figured I’d bring it to your attention in case you thought the article was interesting enough to drop a quick mention about it on your site.
Either way, thanks for your time!
Thanks,
Tim Dalton
Totally unexpected, but God just answered unstated prayers. I’m sure God reads minds and he knew if I took time to think about it, I would pray for some notice of my blog and a desire to know that someone is being affected by what I write.

Thank you Tim for your article and mentioning my blog. One of my prayers is to know that my words, God’s words can reach and help just one person. Then I will know that I have followed God’s lead.
One other point, God accepts any type of prayer, anytime day or night, small or big. He just you to ask. “Have a big faith, and expect big things, and you will get big things.” God isn’t afraid of giving you what you ask for, although it may not be in the way you expect it, but in the way he knows is best for you.
Pray and let Him answer.
All for the Glory of God
Chris
