E is for Sir E. Robert Smythe. First an apology I missed D and have no excuse and no D post to make up for it.
So onto E. I am working on a series of books for middle graders. Sir E. Robert Smythe is a Galactic Safety Ambassador that comes to Earth to assist young people in dealing with the issues encountered by them. He comes from the planet Gwill were along with Queen Sage and a diverse group of beings watch the kids of Earth and intervene to help them deal with life.
Sir E. Robert Smythe is one of the senior ambassadors and usually travels with one of the other ambassadors when the queen discovers a problem.
Sir E., the E stands for Edgar, a name that he does not like, so goes by Sir E. Robert. This proper English gentleman has the head of a St. Bernard, the body of a jackrabbit and the the tail of a lion. This purple and lime-green striped ambassador wears bowler hat on his round head and a monocle graces one eye. He wears an orange vest with a chain and watch attached to it beneath his midnight blue waistcoat with tails. In his hand he holds a jade blue parasol.
Three of the six books are written, contracted being edited.

My current w.i.p. is Sir E. Robert Smythe Goes Back to School and will deal with two siblings, one starting high school and the other starting middle school as well as a neighbor who has just moved into the neighborhood from a foreign country. Sir E. will help the kids navigate these life changes.
When Back to School is finished then I will move on to Sir E. Robert Smythe is a Good Sport where he will teach the kids about being a good sport.
The final book in the series Sir E. Robert Smythe and the Substitute Teacher will deal with substitute teachers.
Of course as I write each of the books more subplots emerge to fill out the story, but this will give you an idea of what I have been doing with all my time these days.
