In fact as I think about it, it’s more like it becomes a part of the fiber of my being and imbeds itself in my work without any concious thought.

Sometimes at night I will go to bed with a conundrum of one type or another and while I fall asleep or during my sleeping the solution will come to me. So the only answer I have to this version of the question is that God has given me the gift of a vivid imagination and to honor Him and express gratitude for the gifts, I write.

Now to the second question: How do I find the time? I fear my answer will be just as vague. I don’t know I just do. Writing is a passion for me, it’s what I am, it’s what I do. Now that I have taken up the challenge of writing, I could no sooner stop than I could give up my children and my family or quit breathing.

I guess what I’m saying is that writing like all other aspects of my life it just is. I don’t sit and think about when do I write and when do I spend time with family, with God, with friends. It’s just what I do. In fact if you ask my family they may tell you that sometimes they feel ignored because I don’t have a schedule and I don’t make time for them, other times my muse will pull at me because I haven’t spent enough time writing. I guess you could say I don’t have a magic elixir, what I do just happens.
