Prompt: What would you serve a dragon at tea?
A tea party with a dragon seems rather daunting. The first hurdle is how much tea do I have to make to please an dragon? A few gallons seems a good place to start, and hope that only one dragon attends.

What about food? I was recently at a tea party and their were wonderful little sandwiches with no meat. I’m not sure how that would go over with the dragon. I googled food for a tea party and think I may have found a solution. Lots of seafood sandwiches were suggested, like salmon and shrimp. I also discovered that ham and roast beef finger sandwiches can be served. Still, making sandwiches large enough to feed a dragon would be a daunting task.
I might have to consider asking some of my dragon friends for help in the food preparation. I think Myrria could be convinced to help and host this little tea party. The location would be another issue. Of course the party would have to be in a rather large area like one of the dragon’s caves or a coliseum or stadium.
Yes if I can overcome those obstacles I’m sure I could host a tea party. I think I’ll go call Myrria and see what we can do. I’ll let you know how things go.
Myrria to the rescue. So what did she say
I love this idea for character building
I like tea parties, too, and I think that a tea party with a dragon would be great fun. If the teapot got cold, the dragon could breathe fire to the bottom of the pot and then we could all have hot tea again. I also can imagine that the dragon would have great stories to tell about adventures, both great and small.
I think when I send my invitation to the dragon for tea, I will enclose a return envelope with a card where he can tell me his favorite tea tidbits. I hope he is vegan!
I think a tea party with a dragon would be fun. The park would be a perfect place – the children’s playground. I hope I get an invite, too. š
